Reconyx question?

What on earth makes these cameras so $$$? I don't know of anyone that owns one

Put it this way. You will see what you were missing.

I have had a camera out for the past 2 years on my property. I averaged about 150-200 pics per every two weeks.


Now I have my reconyx set to 3-shot burst...1 every second. Then.....HERE IS THE BIG DIFFERENCE between Reconyx and other cameras........there is only a 1sec recovery time before the next 3 shot burst kicks off! So.....when there are deer in front of the camera, there is a pic taken every single second. Almost like watching a video. Really helps with getting all the angles of the antlers.

Oh....and battery life is INSANE! I have 8 AA Lithium batteries in it......it has taken over 30,000 pictures since May. And the batteries are still at 99%.

I never would have spent the $$ for the camera, but it was a gift. And now I am spoiled.
