Funny...but these kind of things can backfire. Long story short. Buddy sends me a pic from his camera (that his lease buddies checked because he never got to hunt his new lease b/c of work). Giant 6pt with huge brows. My buddy says it was from his camera last December in Madisonville. The only pic ever of this buck. I commented on how it looked northern and not typical of Madisonville. Oh well. Days goes by and I'm thinking of that buck. So I did a reverse image search and BAM, there is the same deer from Michigan killed in 2009 with many more trail camera pics. I called my buddy and told him/showed him the news. He then called his lease mates and gave them a chance to come clean (after 7 months no doubt). They wouldn't. He drove to Madisonville and took his stand/feeder down and got off the lease. He said if they'd lie to him about that buck being there, no telling what else they would lie about. I'm okay with practical joke for a few days, but to leave a guy wondering for this long what might have been cost them their friendships. And, long story wasn't so short, sorry

^ I've known this guy for about 16 years, I'm not worried about that. Just getting him pumped up for the season. It's hard to hunt when you're not seeing bucks on cam like we are right now. It's more fun when you think big daddy is out there. I think that daylight buck looks like he is in velvet personally, and he is on a cell phone so it's hard to tell.

But all these guys are childhood friends an family an WELLLLL aware of the fact I take very little serious and require thick skin to hang with. But these guys are all good sports I decided to prank them before the new lease meme er could an the other guy pranked me last year. I got a good scare prank I'm plannin too! Lol
