I have certainly picked up some helpful hints over the past month just browsing so I thought it was time to officially join this great sight. I was hoping to get some input on mechanicals vs. fixed blade broadheads. I have been shooting NAP Spitfire XP's for the past few years with decent results. Any advice on a better mechanical or fixed blade would be greatly appreciated.

Yeah, I would sit here and build a whole case for why one is better than the other (I definately have an opinion!) but this topic has been discussed ad nauseum and a quick search (or the links provided above) will provide you with all the info you could ever want to make your decision. Paper tune your bow and practice until you shoot accurately- that's what's most important. A properly placed shot will kill an animal- even with a field point.
