    Can today get any worse???

After finding out my christmas present was stolen and defaced I decided to go outside and shoot my bow and calm down. MY BOW BLEW UP!!!! The upper limb on my switchback just desintegrated while I was drawing back to shoot. Now I have a busted up bow. I hope and pray that they honor my warranty on the bow. I just can't see how today could get any worse. I am halfway through a case of beer and doing a little better now, but I am still ticked off!

Oh man sorry to hear that.
If you are the original owner there should be no issues.

Glad to hear you weren't hurt, did the sight & rest make it through ok?

When you say "disintegrated" are we talking chopped in half or flew in different pieces?

We are talking complete destruction. The only thing I got from it was a bloody lip where it made me hit myself in the mouth. Pieces of that limb are probably still floating in the air.

I am the original owner and everything else made it through the explosion just fine.

Chud... I have had the bow for 6 months. It is not Mathews fault or the bows fault. I tripped and fell down a really large hill last time I went hunting and the bow ended up bouncing down the rocky hill with me. It must have gotten damaged during the fall, but I just didn't see it.

I can feel your pain. Looked in my truck on Sunday morning to find all my kids xmas presents gone and my cd's and a wallet with check and credit cards. Got the checks and cc back, but no cds or presents (about 15 gifts all together). Then to top it off, had to wait until 8PM last night to get my Direct TV hooked up. Problem with that is they were suppose to be here at 8AM. Then once they showed up, the guy driving went to get out of his truck and his rolled down the driveway into mine..... WILL THIS YEAR EVER END?????

                        No, not just bowtech.
In fact the bowtech failures I am familiar with are just slivers in the limb exterior, not blow ups.

It happens to ever manufacturer sooner or later. No use slinging mud.
Here are pics of a new drenalin floating the web.
As far as we KNOW, this owner could have used the wrong press or let a gorrilla draw it .

Well.....I guess you can go parallel, but we won't let that be an option.
