    Almost lost it

Took my son to a swimming party that the community was having last night. My oldest son who is 5 was playing in the shallow end and My wife was watching him. Well this lady got all mad cause my son splashed her she yanked him out of the pool by one arm and started cussing at him say she would drown him. My wife say this a ran over and asked the lady Nicely to never touch out son again, the lady started cussing at my wife saying she would drown her and my son. This is about the time I noticed this was going on and walked over to calm my wife who is 97 pounds about to lose it to a 250 pound thug. She continued to cuss and threaten my wife and son so we walked off and got our stuff to go. I wasn't aware that she had yanked my son out and bumped his knee on the concret and was baling his eyes out. I'm a pretty calm person and thought if never put my hands on a women but I swear if I would have seen her touch my son I would have knocked her out no questions asked. The manager auggested we press charges but were having a hard time getting her name. What would y'all have done in that situation?

First and foremost...no one has the right to touch your child except for you. This woman should have discussed her issue with you before ever yanking a 5 year old child out of a swimming pool. I don't know if I would have had as much restraint as you, so my hat goes off to you!

Yes this^^^^ is what a normal person would have done. An animal in a human body is another story. If I managed not to assault her I would have called the cops and filed assault charges on her

99% of people would have done the exact same thing you did. The other 1% are in jail right now.

Notice I didn't say "wanted to" but rather "would have done." Key difference.

You did the right thing by just leaving. Don't let the internet tough guys make you feel bad about your decision. It was the correct one.

I would have called the cops and stuck around until they arrived to file a formal complaint. Physically assaulting jet would have landed you in jail.

Contact the police and report it. Let them investigate and get her name. Sounds like a real piece of work who needs a real life moment to get her head screwed on right.

If the manager wanted you to file charges that means it has happened befor and he is too scared to do something about it.
