        Seared Scallops ....white wine-thyme butter, sweet cream corn grits

        Fried Soft Shell Crab ....avocado-lime beurre blanc, radish-corn slaw

        Redfish LaFreniere .... bread crumb crusted shrimp, crab meat, capers, choice of side

        sides : the duck fat mashed potatoes are the real deal

          Looking like the French Toast for sure. Either the drum or redfish for dinner. Thanks for the suggestions. My favorite part of working in LA is the food. I have about 20 or more places on the list. Im workin on them!

              I wouldn't turn down the Eggs-Benediction and a Bloody Mary from The Chimes in Baton Rouge.

                    I'm guessing you had the crawfish omelet , beignets, and hot cup of Mello Joy

                    the eye candy isn't to bad either

                        If you can stay a few days longer, this weekend is the Festival de International Music and Food Festival in Downtown Laffy

                        arguable one of the best free festivals anywhere as the food is very affordable, not stupid expensive

                          I knew you would get it right! Why have I never thought of putting boudin on a breakfast sandwich???

                          I wish I could stay. That sounds incredible. Unfortunately, Im off to Baton Rouge in a couple hours. Gonna try to get into some mudbugs tonight!
