    Ordered a TruBall Thumb release

Fang 3. First run with one. Always been a wrist strap shooter. Any experience with em in the wild?

do NOT sell your wrist release

thumb and back tension releases require lots of practice and sometimes changing shooting form and old habits

if you've shot a wrist release exclusively for 5, 10, 15 yrs, there will be a learning curve and adjustment period for the thumb release

changing right before bow season is not advisable.

I've owned 4-5 Carters thinking I needed a $175 release in wild anodized colors for the "cool factor"

after much frustration on my part, I'm still shooting the most comfortable release for me ... Scott Little goose

FYI ... I hunt 99% of the time and rarely shoot 3D or indoor

you may end up liking it, but in case you don't , save your go to release

I love my thumb release and will never go back to a wrist release. I like the fact I can clip it on to my loop, and it will be in place when I need it. I got really tired of the wrist release flopping around all over the place too. The way I do it is, my anchor point is my middle knuckle in the pocket on the bottom of my ear. I didn't take me much getting used to it, but let a couple friends try it, and one of them missed the target a couple times....it's all in the anchor point.

I've been shooting a TruBall thumb release for almost 10 years. I now shoot a 4 finger pro diamond. Love it. Best decision I have made in a long time.

I can even shoot my bow left handed if needed.

TruBall BossX for me! Doesn't matter if I'm hunting or shooting 3d. My Scott is 2nd string and stays in the backpack.

Just switched to a trufire edge 4 finger. I thought it would take forever, but I was consistent with it after only a few shots. I know this isn't the case for everyone, but when you get the release, try not to compare it to a wrist strap as you shoot. Just let your hand come to full draw and settle where you feel most comfortable and solid. Since I switched my trigger anchor is rock solid, and my release is smoother. I still keep my Scott little goose around just in case, but I will be buying an extra 4 finger to replace it once I get the money

Got my TruBall Fang 3 in earlier today and went straight to yard to torch a few off. First experience with a thumb release. Pic included is the 3rd round of 3 @ 20yrds. First couple rounds were at 10yrds to see what it was going to feel like. No adjustments to sight needed. Just tweaking anchor point. Believe it's a keeper.
