So tonight I came home from hunting hogs at the lease. I arrived home at around 9:30 then went to the kennels to water my coondogs after i finished watering the dogs i walked inside to talk to the wife so i decided to help the wife finish up with dinner before i put up all of my hunting stuff, we sat down to eat around 10:30. While we were enjoying our dinner We heard somthing crank up and haul arse. I immediately jumped up and ran to the window with my light and shined outside towards our truck and noticed that our polaris rzr had been stolen. I was still in my hunting clothes so I grabbed my pistol and keys and took off towards the way that the rzr went. So I called 911 to get the police headed toward the house. I was driving around for 12 minutes when my wife called saying that there was a truck parked 100 yards from the house and there was a guy walking down the road toward the truck. So I hurried up to get to my wife she jumped in and we went to confront the guy walking. As we pulled up beside him I asked him what he was doing and he replied his truck had broke down and he was trying to get to a phone to call someone for help. I replied asking him why he didn't walk to our house instead of walking 11/2 miles the opposite direction to use a phone. His reply was he wasn't from around here at that time my phone was ringing it's the cops they where on our road so I drove down 100 yards to turnaround and talked to the cops. So the cops pulled up and question this guy and then let him go. The funny thing is that I went the way he was walking from (twice)and I never seen him. Also his truck was 20 yards off the road and backed into a lease road. After the cops let him go they came to get a statement from me that's when the other officer said I found the rzr. From the time I heard the rzr crank until I confronted him was about 18 min. So I walked from where the rzr was to where I confronted him it was 16 min leaving no doubt it was him.
While we where lucky to get our Rzr back I wish they would have put the guy behind bars. My wife is now freaking out because this guy came all the way up to the house while we where eating and stole something.
Sorry for the rant
