It's an easy drive. Head back to South Padre Island Drive, South asking the main road, and take a left. The turn to the ramp is a right turn about 2 miles past the Guard Shack on PINS.

Take the ferry across to Port A. Take the island road all the way until you cross Packery Channel Bridge. When you get to the light take a left. Take that road all the way to the National Seashore Park. It dead ends into the park. Once you are in the park the road to Bird Island is on the right. There are signs everywhere that say Boat Ramp. The road will twist around and stay right. You can't miss it.

This is what I'm thinking , ferry at 4:15 am should be no waiting in line
