I scoped a roost pond by my ranch back in Nov and saw 3 Specks all with neck bands and one of the neckers had a foot band too. they were all within 10yds of one another and I didnt have my camera to take a pic.

A snow with a band is a treasure for sure!

no ive killed 12 bands ive killed 2 in one hunt out of the same flock of bw teal. and a double banded ross with a neck collar

We got a neck- and foot-banded Canada goose over Thanksgiving. First I ever saw. Congrats.

Congratulations on the banded birds. I saw a hunting show the other day where they told a hunter that there was a banded bird and once they got really excited they told him there wasn't a band.

Are those birds that have bands raised then released into the wild or wild birds that were captured then rereleased for tracking purposes?

they are captured and then released for tracking purposes its pretty cool you call in the band number and they send you back a paper to frame statein how old the bird is where it was from and what kind and who banded it
