Got lucky today, I am hurting, but the soreness will be better in a few days.

I had to stop completely on the highway due to traffic. I was rear-ended by a vehicle that didnt even brake, no skid marks. I am sore as hell. I drove the truck home. All seat belts are locked solid, service air bags alert, receiver hitch and frame have a hug gap between them. I am so lucky I was driving the LML and not my civic commuter car. The FD and PD said if I had been, I would be dead or seriously injured. They made a comment about how well the truck held up. When I came to a stop, i had about 3 ft from my front bumper to the car in front of me. The truck didnt move an inch forward. I am really impressed how well the truck took the impact.

Yeah, she was my main concern, her car bounced off the truck atleast 5ft. She was really shook up. She was polite and really genuine about it, as was I to her. I told her it was ok and thats why we have insurance.

Glad you are OK. And hope she wasn't on her cell. Everyday I see more and more people swerving all over the road and find them on their cells as I get beside them. We regulate everything else so why not make a total ban on phone usage in a moving vehicle??
