My Aunt lives out on the point where Kickapoo and the open lake is. Not a whole lot going on around there for vacationing. Pine island is a good place to stop the boat and hang out. I wouldn't even wanna launch your boat from where you are. Take your time gettin to the lake if you do. Jerry's restaurant in Onalaska is good food

The wet deck is good for lunch. Park your boat on the shore and walk right to it.

Don't know if its to hot but the horse back riding looks like fun.

Also, check out the navionics online map. Maybe it will help with were to go with the boat.

I was going to suggest the same thing, my parents live in Onalaska by the big bridge in Bridgeview Sub-Division and we use to always go out to pine island in the summer and go swimming for hours!

Shrimp Boat Manny's is a good place to get some grub, it's also where I had my first "on paper" job in high school.

Maybe try taking the boat to the dam and fishing for some white bass/striper? Thats always a good time as well.

You can get real gas at place in bottom left of lake. Last time I went we got whites and blue cats on south side of that island, Pine Island it think.

Wet deck is closed after loading up and following gps to no where. Coming back and finding it .

Area north of the bridge from you is where we used to ski years ago. Lot of good places for catching whites up there, and fishing for cats with noodles is pretty relaxing.

Glad ya'll are having a good time. There will be a bass tournament this afternoon out of Kickapoo Bait & Tackle(yellow building directly across 190 from Northshore), they weigh in @ 9:00 if your kids want to see some fish.
