Our government has no clue. I worked for a company that employed around 25 guys from Mexico. Over 3-4 yrs , the things i learned. Border crossing, check points, etc...throw em out the window. Its so easy getting thru that one worker was arrested on a wed, was dropped off by bus in Mexico fri, called the office and said "see yall monday morn"...he was 15 mins early mon morn! Newbies pay for everything w either a $50 or $100 becuse they dont know denomination s yet. But the main thing is we make it easy, we cater to illegals....spanish radio, spanish meat markets, "dial 2 for...", etc etc. An illegal can come here and settle into that world and work/live here for 20 yrs while sending 80% of his pay to mexico tax free then spend other 20% at Mexican owned/ran businesses lol

What kills me is all these durn checkpoints, and agents, WAY away from the border. If all our "Border" Agents were actually posted ON the border, it would be much more of a deterrent. It's ridiculous that we have a checkpoint in Uvalde, and all the agents stationed along the railroad tracks, 90 miles from the border itself - mostly harassing US citizens. I don't know who came up with the bone-headed plan of spreading them so far and so thin; but it would be a vast improvement if they were ALL moved into the immediate border area.
