Supplements for lab with arthritis?

My ten year old lab is starting to show signs of arthritis in her hind legs. Has anyone had success with joint supplements? I'm going to have to take it easy on her this hunting season.

The joint juice for dogs. I think its called glucosamene? SP could be wrong.

PM sprigman on here. His is my son-in-law and has an older Lab with this problem.

I gave my lab Rymadil (SP) for at least 3 years. It's kinda pricey, but it put her back to hunting. Gave her half of a tablet every morning. When I worked her, I'd give her the other half in the evenings, otherwise, when we were home and not hunting, she just got the half pill mornings. It's a miracle drug for arthritic dogs.

Cosequin DS worked on mine.

Prevacox (sp) is what we've been using . Ask your vet about it. Best results even over Rymadol .
