agreed, but they lost the stadium vote last year, so this year, they rolled it in with schools and expansions/upgrades. they want the stadium more than the rest.

My property taxes went up 30k this year. Oddly enough, the Cowboys are moving here and are needing a 12k seat indoor practice facility. Well lucky us, the kids are gonna get to use it for high school FB games.

I like to earhole Jerry and local politicians with a...ok, maybe I shouldn't go that far, but it ticks me off.

Agreed but the taxpayers aren't the ones spending the money! The ones spending the money take for granted where it came from.

just because you have a bunch of kids doesn't mean you have to build an $80 million complex like cy fair isd did. aint got enough money for books but we got a kick @$$ football field, the principal's have berber carpet and mahogany desks with big leather chairs in their offices. misuse of school taxes p!$$#$ me off!

regardless how much to stadium costed, the builder should be held accountable for the poor craftsmanship of the allen stadium. didn't the aisd get some kind of warranty on the stadium.

This sign is 100% true in this, as well as most cases. Just change out the word "service" for "product."

Something I've said for years! The more something cost the more money the architect makes. The faster they can get it done by the GC the more money they make. I can remember when multi million dollar jobs would have 3 months to bid. Now you're lucky if you get 3 weeks. A project would have an 18 month completion date. Now they want it done in 9 months.
