Which sight do ya'll recommend?

As far as I can tell at this point, it seems like the Extreme RT900 is #1, Cobra Sidewinder is #2, and Toxonics is #3...this helps alot.

I will throw in here. The Spot Hogs are without a doubt the most well made sights on the market. They are not as bright as they could be. I modified my fibers and made it very bright but they are a little exposed.

For a hunting sight I would recommend the Toxonic K-9 series. The Toxonics brand has been around for years (competition) and are built very tough. The fibers in the K-9 series are wrapped tightly and ecapsulated in plastic and DO NOT VIBRATE at the shot. The new ones have a metal fin behind the fiber optic to support it and makes it a really tough site. I dont think that you can find a flaw with the toxonics.

I have not shot or seen the RT900 so no opinion on that one. I would stay away from the cobra sidewinder as I had problems with noise on it and even after putting in there "hush" kit it still was a "get what you pay for" sight.

I have both the sword accusite and the sniper extreme and like both. I mainly use the sword on 3d and target shooting and the extreme for hunting because of which bow they are on. The sword site is good for day hunting, but I prefer the extreme because of the way it lights up the pins for night hog hunting.

VBG is probably one of the top sights on the market. I have a Cobra Sidewinder but the VBG (vital bow gear) is much better in my opinion.

OK, I just took the plunge. Thanks to everybody's help, I was able to make an educated purchase. I placed my order tonight for an Team Extreme RT900 sight.



I can't wait to get it!

Thanks again for everyone's input. I seriously considered the Toxonics and a couple other mentions, but it still seemed like the Extreme got the most positive comments. Can't imagine I'll be sorry.
