Hey self, have you ever seen Daniel Cormier lose even one measly round while fighting in the UFC.

Self answers: No you big dummy he has never lost a round.

Do I think John Jones can win? Sure I do. It's MMA. John can go to his usual eye pokes and then go for a finishing head shot.

I don't think Jones is ready to be thrown on his back like Cormier is most likely going to do.
Yeh...Jon already shown..that while he's got heart....He swells up REAL easy...breaks bones easily...and that's against guys that hit with about 2/3rd of the power Cormier throws.
Jon will be on his back...then on his stomach...then on his sides...the back on his back...All the while his eyes nose and mouth are swelling like a balloon..
what he won't be doing...is standing very long.
Cormier will be coming like a juggernaut..and jones doesn't have enough ***** to stop it.

      Yep.
JJ will be asking himself if he really belongs in this sport after the beating DC is going to serve up on his noggin.

I'm not saying that he doesn't but his confidence and pride wont be the same when this is over.

Jones has a 5" height advantage, a 13" reach advantage, is 8 years younger than DC. Jones is a phenomenal striker and a great wrestler who fights dirty. DC's main advantage is strength and his wrestling. The X factor that he brings to the match is his training partner is Cain Velasquez. That is a huge help. Going to be a good fight but my money is on JBJ. That reach advantage and quickness will be too much for DC.

Anyone on the south side of Houston want to get together and watch this fight? I usually go to a little sports bar in Friendswood and watch them. We should have a TBH Fight night.

Conversely, those of you in the so called TBH braintrust that are snoozing on Cormier haven't been watching his fights either. He has destroyed everybody in his path. I think he has the skill set to take Jones but like I stated before it is MMA and anything can happen.

This is going to be an action packed fight. Doesn't look like either one wants this one to go the distance. In my opinion DC needs to take this fight to ground, he doesn't want to stand with Jones. If its a stand up fight Jones will use his reach and unorthodox striking to make quick work of DC. If on the other hand DC is able to take it to the ground and dominate in the wrestling department DC could make a fight of it. Either way going to be one to watch.

                      here's the link....dang it's tense...and this isn't WWE...this is legit hatred!

UFC light heavyweight champion Jon Jones and Daniel Cormier's already-legendary “SportsCenter” interview has gone from funny to slightly disturbing. After a Monday brawl at a Las Vegas press stop ahead of their UFC 178 headliner, the fighters appeared on ESPN

Yeah, it would be a possibility on any forum but this one.

I didn't even think of that when I suggested it in an earlier post. I have no place to hunt this year so I'll be watching the fight.
