    Exactly.

You aren't far enough out in the country.....

I'd start working on really pissing that neighbor off, to the point he'd pay you to move

If you decide to move those hedge rows later, you might want to fence that area too. Be sure to document the area that has hedge rows now with photographs, ect. We had a problem a few years ago with a hedge row the "neighbor" (at that time) put in on "our" property while the family was a way for extend period of time. And it was assumed after the neighboring house turned over a few times it was the neighbor's property. Caused a lot of undue aspirin consumption with the last neighbors when we decided to remove the hedge rows and fence it in.

4.5 FT could be used for a mator guard-n or dog run .

Just trying to save you some aspirin

WE REALLY NEED A LIKE BUTTON for post! spot on to what i was thinking... 5 years down the road, supervisors change, paper work is lost, documents are hard to find (just like metal property stakes in rock pits ) in this day and age you have to establish boundaries....

the Old Dale would be peeing a scent line that would curl a nose 40 years from now...Daaaaang

(I'm soon to be 51, Father of 4 and on my second marriage amigo, i totally understand picking the fights and just getting it done) it's fun watching you grow wiser via TBH (not that i'm wise enough to really comprehend but it's still fun)

FTR, the easement will be parallel to the street either at the front or the back depending on where the pedestals and transformers are. Easements are for the main systems, not service drops. That is unless the drop runs along the easement before making a 90 up to the house. There is no easement between houses.

I hate to disappoint you girls, I'm not sure what you're after though. I just don't have time to wait on all these clowns to finish this fence, dove season is comin on fast. I'll get the line moved when I have time.

Well I didn't know you needed one either until they called. When I went to "city Hall" (portable office trailer) I told the girl I needed a permit to build a fence. She asked me how much it cost and mentioned if it was over 500$ the cost of the permit went up...$499 it is. She thought that was an awesome coincidence. Then she said I needed to draw a picture of how the fence would look so the inspector could approve it before I could start. I said just tell the inspector to go look at the 200' that's already done and he could draw his own picture. Anyway, $23 later we have a permit and they didn't mention the shop I built 3 years ago without one.

What a pain in the ***!

That sounds kind of like most of the state of New Mexico. "J.F.", the neighbor out there with the llamas owns one of just about everything, including a little drilling rig. He decided it was time to drill a few water wells on his ranch. About the second or third well into it, a NM state man with some sort of authority to shut down water well drilling on your own ranch showed up and shut him down.

Told him he'd have to apply in person in Santa Fe for each permit and pay some fee. "J.F." called in and told them that he had quit drilling water wells and now was mining for gold...and if he hit water he'd just have to get rid of it somehow in a cow trough or something.

How close is the neighbors house? Do you have room for flock of guinea hens or a couple of braying jackarses?

The auger blade hooked under the edge of a rock about 12" deep, which consequently caused it to take a hard turn to the north, thusly screwing itself into the ground sideways, bending the auger shaft, and nearly turning the tractor over before I shut things down. Anyone who's ever had this happen knows that a broken shear pin was next on the agenda....not cool.

So I had to weld some scrap stuff together to get a cheater bar on it and back the auger out by hand. Not how I drew up my Thursday evening.....
