Another season drawing to a close. Bucks grouping up. The easiest hunting of the year coming next week.. it's been a great year so far. We may try to kill another one. I still have a tag. I'm dreaming of what these deer look like next year though.

We had a really good season even though we hunted much less than normal.

I shot this 7 yr old nine pt opening evening of bow season . foubd him the next morning destroyed by yotes

Lil David had a monster 8pt on his list. He smoked that sucker late Oct with a crossbow

I had a big deer with lots of character located. When rile season opened, I broke out the 457 Texan air rifle

My wife got the fever too. I took her hunting with the ol 457 and she thumped a hammer 7 yr old 8pt fo r her first deer!

My buddy, CR was hunting with LilDavid. They had another giant main frame 8 on camera . He got it done on this dude that's at least 10yrs old

I had an old deer that has been missing cone home. I have a great neighbor that communicates and shares pics with us. I knew he had hunted this deer 3 years ago and my pics were near his place. I gave him a call and told him the old sucker was home. He got set up and killed that sucker first hunt. Deer is at least 11yrs old. We heard the shot and he immediately called to get help tracking. Great shot though and deer was dead about 30 yds off my fence.

All in all, we had a super year. 862 inches not including neighbors buck. We have a couple monsters coming now and lil David bought a muzzke loader so it's possible another will fall
