Went to the ranch to fill some feeders & pig hunt. Well the pigs are moving after dark so no piggies. My Son did catch a coon in his Z trap. 1 less problem around the protein feeder
. We had contracted to get another pond built on the ranch & we were surprised to see he had started 3 days earlier. When it is all said & done we should be looking at 10-12 feet deep at least & about 3/4 to an acre of surface area. He was getting the deep end done & pushing up the dam,so it has a ways to go ,but it sure is looking good so far. Now just gonna be praying for a wet fall. Hard to tell by the pics ,but he is pushing some major dirt. Ranch is still green & all the other ponds are full. Having hi 80's to low 90's in August was unbelievable. Sure made it nice to be out this weekend.
