looks like a snow bike a buddy rides in canada, but i suspect its as good on the sand.

Those are called Fat Bikes. Or for the PC people "Big Bone" bikes. Or "Glandular Challenged" Or...lol
They are for the snow and mud/sandy terrain.

I saw these at the beach in Gulf Shores. For us big boys the tires are great. They need to work on a much better, bigger softer seat!
