"If I can just get off of that LA freeway without getting killed or caught"

With a nod to Jerry Jeff, I'm currently inching my way up the 405 between LAX and Santa Monica at rush hour. I've been in heavy traffic before - Dallas, Houston, Atlanta etc. but wow - wondering how people do this on a daily basis...

Been there done that and I feel for you!

That is the worst traffic in the US.

    Stay Safe.

Took me six months to recover from a wreck on the 405 back in "80".
JJW's song was my theme song coming home.

I just moved from there to the Dallas area. Lived near LA my whole life.
That stretch of the 405 is one of the worst places in the country for traffic

I thought LA, Dallas and Houston were bad until I took a cab ride from Rio de Janeiro to Macae, Brazil.

Our cab driver ended up pulling a gun on another idiot. Six lane freeways were 12 lanes of crowded madness.

Love me some California....South Lake Tahoe during the winter anyway. One of the coolest places in America. I also like the small beach communities around LA. Manhattan Beach is awesome. Sometimes different is good.

That said I hate traffic so I couldn't live in the area.
