Not sure how I'm going to pull this off

My wife informed me tonight that during open enrollment for her health insurance shes enrolling me. Granted it's been 5+ years since I've had insurance, I'm 43 now.
It's ONLY going to cost $400/month. Of that I can afford $ 100. That leaves a $300 defecit. Time to get a second job...

Our total monthly for the 2 of us is going to be $800/month.

Her with is switching from BC/BS of Texas to AETNA.

My company had Aetna for one whole year. Premiums were cheaper but it cost me thousands more in bills.

You could just quit your job, hang out at the carwash all day and get it for free as long as the current administration is in office.

But wait... I thought it was supposed to be "AFFORDABLE health care"?

Oh yeah, affordable to those that don't have to pay a dime for it! what was I thinking?

Aetna sucks!!!! My company has it and the bills are crazy. BC/BS is way better.

Could just pay penalty and hope you don't get sick. I'm having to add wife and kids to my companies healthcare. I'm covered by employer. Wife and family is $900 a month, hopefully, pretax. Still trying to decide if risk of wife getting sick in the next year or so offsets cost savings. Kids alone only adds $260 a month. Apparently it's the wife that causes all the trouble.
