So a while back I went to the bank drive thru at the same bank I've had an account at for more than ten years. Have often been there when the ATM beside the drive thru was being serviced. As always there's been an armed guard on duty and always acted appropriately. The guards never acted over excited or as though they were trigger happy.
This time, there was a different guard there that I've never seen. He had his Jeep parked at a skewed angle to block the ATM. The Jeep had a vanity plate that didn't leave any imigination as to what the driver's thoughts of himself are. I won't give the exact spelling, but it has to do with, "tough".
. Complete with strobe lights front and rear. Ok, so I'm not making fun of the guy. Just trying to paint the scene as I saw it.
The guy was standing further away from the ATM and was staring down the drivers and passengers on the road in front of the bank, the parking lot, and the drive thru customers.
Yeah, one has to be watchful in that position, but it appeared that guy had issues. His body language suggested he was too ready to shoot anyone. If you saw what I saw, it was just ridiculous. None of the other guards ever acted like that.
After I left the drive thru I proceeded to pull onto the road, but couldn't yet because of traffic. Yep, there was Mr. Tough guy staring me down like he wanted to do away with me. I just ignored him.
I did let the bank know as I'm sure others did, that they had a potential lawsuit and potential dangerous armed person on their premises.
Never seen the guy since.
