It won't be anymore expensive than yellow corn. It is just better quality (food grade) and sweeter.

A few years ago we purchased some wholesale had cracked corn mixed with whole mixed watched deer come out to eat it the same weekend we put it out seemed to work fine

I had access to food grade white corn several years ago. Fed it in my feeders for 2 or 3 years exclusively. Works just like yellow corn!
