Anyone hunt west of Boerne ?? have a question

I may get a chance to hunt west of Boerne.... about 7 miles or so. between Boerne and Pipe Creek.

are there any...a few or a lot of exotics in that area? I would think there are a lot of axis, but have heard there is a minimal amount.

There was free range axis there when I hunted the area in the late 1980s. I bet it is loaded now.

Lots of axis if you on some bottom land. Black buck too.
Heck there are axis in Boerne city limit.

I've seen axis in Kendall, Williamson, travis and hays counties. They are everywhere.

My uncle has a herd of 50-60 move through the property there regularly

Traffic stops here in Boerne all of the time due to herds of axis crossing the roads.
