Need Help With EZGO

I have a 93 EZGO Marathon with a 36V motor. How can I tell if it is a "Series" motor, or not?

Also where is the best place to buy batteries for one of these? Can you buy the batteries used or is it best to buy brand new?

If it's a 93 marathon it's a series motor. That's all they made back then.
