Scentlock or Ozonics

So if I am going to spend 300 dollars on either new scentlock gear or an Ozonics unit which is better? I have never used the Ozonics and I have older scentlock gear that seems to work most of the time. Just checking to get the gree screen opinion.

I hunt mostly whitetail here in Texas but I do some muledeer and elk hunting also.

I would try an Ozonics and see if it works for you.

I have use both, and I am no going to say they don't work at all...but, I would save your money and just hunt good wind.

Scentlok is so hot, I couldn't wear it for much of the Texas season, and I think the "put it in the dryer to recharge" has been proven to be BS.

I would go with the Ozonics for several reasons. The first and most practical being that you would be miserably hot in scent lock clothing unless is cold - or at least cool. I think the technology behind the Ozonics is sound - does not work perfect 100% of the time but as we all know, nothing does. (other than being lucky enough to have all targeted animals come into your shooting lane from upwind) I have also read that it is impossible to get carbon filled clothing hot enough in a dryer to recgarge it.

When they invent a ozonics thats output temperature can be adjusted and it can be used as an outdoor AC unit for October hunts.... I might buy one.
