    Buckeye Wireless camera system

Anyone ever use the Buckeye Wireless camera/video system? if so I'm looking for a little feedback. Pros/cons what was the distance you were transmitting that sort of stuff

The $999.99 price tag made me hit the X at the top right hand side of the screen.

I suggested it to one of my clients who needed to put a cost effective security camera at their back gate. Running a hard wired security camera would have cost well over $1000. They had problems with the first camera and sent it back. The got the replacement camera and have loved it. It sends the picture from the back gate to the control room within 15 seconds. I have not seen pictures to see quality, but the fact that it can send to your computer from up to 1/2 mile away was a selling point for me. Oh...and you can network a series of cameras together and have them send their pictures all through the one. This would be great for a lease. You can have all the cameras communicate with each other and that first night when you get to the lease, you can download all the pictures to the cabin....look at pics prior to hunting in the morning.

Do you know if it will send live feeds also?

Not sure. But I doubt it.

It is suppose to be a little more than just a game cam
It does wireless feeds to your computer which you should be able to access from anywhere if you link your computers, if you have more than one camera they link together as repreaters to extend the wireless range. Anyway they couldn't be anymore a waste of money than the P.O.S. Cuddebacks i have

Still don't see it being worth a grand each. I have 3 that are $100-$200 each and work fine. IMHO even the Cuddebacks are way over priced. If I had the extra scratch to buy $1000 game cams, I know I could find better things to spend that money on.

Would be just another reason not to get off the couch.

I think the smart scouter camera is a much better option... and it is cheaper.

I am right there with you. I have a hard time paying more than $100 for a camera. That would be why I only have USED cameras, and continue to collect. Remember, this was an Oil & Gas Industry client at one of their facilities. $1000 is like the cost of a paper towel to them.

I agree with mudshack and drenalinjunkie. I use the $85 Moultrie 4.0 game cam and have got some awesome picture clarity. battery life and trigger speed.

I don't really want to spend the money either but I have a need for a realtime camera that I can view remotely with a wireless feed. I may be better off with some type of security camera that is wireless

I don’t know, if you have a need for one then it maybe worth the price. I agree it is a little pricey but a cuddie won’t transmit data. Here is a link to a site that might be of some help.
