So what is behind that wall to give you that much room and also curious how you braced the floor for all that weight?

Really cool idea, honestly the safe is kinda redundant hiding your guns that well.

Or build a narrow shelf for shoes, ties, etc. anything for people not to suspect a safe behind it.

Personally, is look behind mirror. But in a quick smash and grab, I doubt they do.

The roof slants down there is about 10' in the attic. 2x12 and put 3/4" decking down spread it across floor joists.
