Trek bikes

I was looking at the Trek x caliber 7, 8, and 9 bikes today. Does anyone have any experience with any of these?

I think mine is only the 4 but it is a solid bike. I haven't done anything really rugged but it sure could handle some rough stuff.

The x cal line is a good line. Spend as much as you can to enable yourself the best component group possible. Worth it in the long run. Cheap groupos suck I promise.

Good bikes but there are a lot of options in that price range. If you are in Fort Worth you owe it to yourself to go see the guys at Colonel's Bike Shop. They will shoot you straight. Best bike shop in the world.
