I have a 2006 Ford F-350[lets not get into the debate], that came from the factory with Continental tires. I noticed the rear was wearing much more than the front, so I got to where I was rotating them pretty soon after I pulled the RV on a trip, thinking the wear was due to a heavy fifth wheel. Long story short the back tires were shot after about 26,000 miles. In my way of thinking this was much too soon for the tires to be worn out, even more so since my 2002 had Firestone tires that lasted 65,000 and I changed them just in case. They still had plenty of tread. So anyway I call Ford, they send me to Continental, who sends me back to Ford who sends me back and so on. I finnaly get to a person with the tire company, who tells me there is no mileage warranty. While all this is going on I get up to 32,000 and the rear tires are slick, the front tires are still way above 3/32 of an inch. So with the price of fuel these days I bought 2 tires, thinking I'll buy a little time before replacing the front. Well I'm at 33,000 now and coming home tonight I get this wobble in the front of the truck and get out and the outside edge of the left front in protuding about 2 inches around half the tire. I call the "tire guy" and he says its tread seperation. So if you were thinking about buying Continental Tires DON'T. I told the nice guy at the company I would let everyone know about his product. Thanks for letting me vent.

I never run stock tires anyway. They are all just about junk. And to replace them with the same tire, cost more in most cases than if you put a better tire on.Last edited by DrenalinJunkie; 07-24-2008, 07:18 AM.
