    Natural Gas Plumbing Question

I have re-run a line to my outdoor kitchen. The pool excavators decided they didn't like where it was I called Morrisons supply to get the parts I needed and they said I had to be a licensed installer to purchase the flex pipe and fittings. I checked Home Depot and it doesn't look like they have what I need.

This is what was ran before through the conduit.

Do any places sell this that I can purchase without a license and is this actually what I need.

I'm in the FW area if there are any plumbers who can help.

    Thanks

Gastite is the brand you have. They are several brands and I believe they are all unique and specific to the brand, meaning you cannot mix fittings and brands together.

Lowes carries some of that flex gas piping. CSST is the common term which stands for Corrugated Stainless Steel Tubing. Not sure what brand they carry.

If you have never jacked with this stuff before it would be best to have a professional do it. It must be cut and connected in a certain way or it will not seal properly.

Use poly tubing from gas line to the copper tube at the grill

X2, but more than a little strange. They are the company I use to handle gas lines here on campus.

              Thanx guys, I think!

I could get someone out tomorrow to take care of this if you like.

I really do not know a company in Ft. Worth well enough to refer.

was it the excavators that pulled it up?

if so, I hope they know a good plumber.

Hire someone that knows what they're doing so we dont see another one of these stories.

Three people were airlifted to the hospital after a blast turned their home into scattered lumber
