    Anyone Hiring!?

Looking for a new job now that my work is extremely slow. Anyone know of any oil field jobs hiring or something along those lines? I'm a machinist right now making $12.50 an hour and I really need a litttle more than that at least. If anyone knows of anything it would be greatly apreciated, thanks guys!

Lots of companies have new rigs/ships coming out right now and are hiring entry level spots. Noble, Ensco, Diamond, Maersk come to the top of my head immediately. Put your resume together and start hitting their websites looking for roustabout jobs. Also, get an account on Rigzone and start looking for entry level stuff on the service side. You will be over $12.50 without blinking if you get picked up. The issue right now is the word is out and the market is getting saturated, but there is (at least here) a good bit of turnover in the lower level jobs as guys figure out that they can't/won't do the schedule.

How long have you been machining? Manual or CNC? Lathe, mill?

O ya. I've been working 60hr weeks for about the last 2 yrs. We are extremely swamped right now, we have work backed up until the end of the year.
