    A different view...

I was in my first major car wreck today. I was stopped at a red light when a 3/4 ton diesel with a two horse trailer plowed into my driver side. I am thankfully unhurt. No injuries whatsoever. My truck is now totaled. The first thing I did was call my wife and tell her what happened, told her I was ok, and I loved her. Thakfully, my dad was headed home form work and saw me in the scnene. The firefighter kept asking me if I was sure I was ok. I finally asked him why he kept questioning me after 30 "I am ok's". He told me that people do not just get up and walk away from that type of crash. My dad pulled a favor with his radiology friend and all my x-rays were negative. Right beofre the accident, I was so mad. My professor had basically told me my research was sh**, it had been a terrible day at work, we are in the process of moving, we are moving my last grandparent into an alzheimers unit, and grad school tuition is due in three days. It was just one of those days were everything is going wrong. I cannot believe how lucky I am. My last words before she crashed into me were Dear God, dont let Emorie grow up without knowing her dad. My wife is due to have our first child in three weeks. I cannot beleive that I was mad about the small stuff, when the important stuff was almost taken away from me in a heartbeat. I can't fathom how lucky I am. I just needed to let it out.

And, dear God heard you. Thankfully you are ok. The older you get the more you'll realize it can all be gone in a flash.

God heard your prayers, and decided it wasn't time for you to meet Him yet. Live every day like it's a miracle that you're alive, praising Him.
