    Overnight rainfall?

    I just stumbled outside and found 4 inches in the gauge. NC San Antonio inside loop 410

      KSAT was just talking about how hard it rained...at a rate of 7" per hour (not how much that fell, but how hard it was falling). I believe it. It was a brutal storm...set my alarm (that wakes the dead) off twice. Lightening was so close and thunder louder than I think I have ever heard. So glad it was during middle of night....I imagine it would have wreaked all kinds of havoc had it come through during the daylight hours.

          I had 6"+ in my rain gauge from 8 pm to 10 pm in Bryan. It was still raining after I dumped it, didn't check it this morning

            Boss house up on Beck Road of FM 1863 in Bulverde got 5" .....I decided to stay home today and not go up there and mud around in that black dirt....love this sand....Andy

                        Light soaking rain most the night in Hempstead. I have never seen the pastures this tall, the cows cannot keep up with it. Normally they are searching for every blade of grass they can get and keep it cut real close.
