Ever seen a snake with no eyes?

Let my pup out just now to pee and noticed she was playing with something in the yard. I walked out to see what it was and it was a copperhead and the dang thing had no eyes. Didn't look like it ever had any. It was very strange.

Sure you weren't looking at the wrong end? Because they usually don't come with eyes on THAT end.

Copperhead, if you could have gotten a pic close to the ground and eye level we would be able to see better detail.

It was until after I took the pictures. It has a headache now. I could pin it's tail down and it wouldn't even strike. It would try to slither off and kept bumping into stuff.

Looks like it may have been run over by a vehicle and survived.
