          I have a 2007 Arctic Cat 250 I bought new. I'm 6' 2" and 220 lbs. That thing has hauled me and 5 bags of corn with no problem. It's still going strong. If you can find a used one that has been well maintained it will serve you well.

            If that's your budget then look for a Honda 300 in decent shape. Its plenty big and arguably the best one they ever made.

              This. Look for a used Honda Fourtrax 300. They are tanks and it takes a LOT of abuse to kill them. I had one and I hooked up a 6' X 12' trailer up to it at the lease. We loaded 10 bags of corn to the trailer, had my dad, nephew, and step son on the trailer along with a generator and a LOT of tools to upgrade a stand. My Fourtrax pulled this trailer with no problems and no complaints.

                If it were me, I'd try to find a used Suzuki King Quad or Quad Runner. Those machines are tanks!

                  I have a 2007 AC 250 as well. Has been more reliable than the last 3 Honda Recon's I had. Everybody swears by them, but I've had horrible luck. All simple things, but I like to get on it and go every time with no issues and my Arctic Cat has provided that for me.

                    Here are some ATVs that don't look to be too bad, and they are in your area;
