    ADA attorney

Anyone know an attorney or is anyone familiar with ADA laws. My wife is getting harrassed by her HR manager in regards to her MS. May have to hire an attorney. Any help would be appreciated. In the DFW area.

Not a lawyer but I work with a lot of ADA related stuff. You will want to get in touch with an ADA specialist to get some feedback on what to do.

They're the guys you want to get in touch with.

I would document everything and go directly to the company CEO, Pres, and legal advisor . Request an in-person meeting and share her documented side of the story .

If they refuse to cooperate and make things right, retain legal counsel and go to the local TV stations .

I'm not a litigation-type person; however harassing people with disabilities ain't cool in my book

You want to hear the kicker to this.................she works in a medical clinic. To me, that makes this even worse. She's never had any complaints from her co-workers, doctors, patients, etc. Only the HR manager. Every one else in the office see's how she's being treated and the entire office is po'd about it. She misses days occasionally due to her MS but she is within the company and ADA guidelines, yet she's getting harrassed and (IMO) discriminated against due to this.
