    Bowhunting dove

Does anyone know the legality of bowhunting migratory game birds ?

All good. Hitting them is the hard part. So long as you got your license and stamps, you're legal.

Saw Tred Barta hunt Sandhills with a long bow outside of Lubbock one time. They showed a game warden who was watching them from afar for awhile and he finally came over really confused because he couldn't figure out how he never heard them shoot with all the cranes flying over them.

Shoot them off of water. Lot easier that way.

I watched an episode of Arrow Affliction one time with they were shooting pheasants and doves. They put what looked like a big claw on the front of their arrow and let em fly!

Can get wire loop tips, up to 6" diameter ($12/ea.), for arrows at 3Rivers.
