Going to the Bar E Ranch next Wkd???

Im going to the Bar E next weekend. This is going to be my first hunt to pay for, so does anyone got any suggestions? My brother took a nice choc. fallow last year, hopefully we will have the same luck this year.

Has anyone had luck there in the past few weeks?

I know they have been shooting some good deer. I good friend of mine from the PSE factory was there the second weekend of bow season and shot a 146 9 pt... I know of 2 others that were bitter shot on the last couple of weeks...

This place is definitely on my list to visit and hunt. I have heard nothing but good things about it. Let us know how it goes.

I am going the first weekend in Nov. He release a lot, I mean alot of 140-160+py deer. My buddy who is going with us was there before bow season and had a 14pt with double drops 10yds away! There are excellent exotics there as well. This will be my 4th trip there since Jan '05.

Spur, you want in on our next group outing there?? We usually book the entire ranch. For $500 you really cant beat it.

I was there the last week of September. Larry and Tina have an excellent herd. I must have seen 5 over 150 within 15 yards of my popup. I figured it was going to be a blood bath on opening day. Some really nice exotics as well.

I just talked to Tina and she said they have killed 21 whitetails this season, and they had put over 100 in the fence this year.

Biggest beging a 154 couple 140's, and a bunch of 120-130's.
