Removing Large Roots from Trench

This can be done with a chain saw, but it's painful and you run the risk of ruining blades. My brother and I just rented a stump grinder for $160 per day. Takes about five to ten minutes for a 5-8" stump, but it gets the job done.

Stump grinders come in many sizes so look around.

We have been driving over stumps born after a fence went up in 94'. FINALLY they are gone!
