What is the deal with Campho Phenique?

Bayer is experiencing delays in production and it is expected to be available in early September. At least that is what one our suppliers says they are being told.

My dad used to put it on pimples to get them to form a head so they could be popped.

I still have a probably 20 year old bottle in the med cabinet and put some on a thorn I got in my hand cutting mesquite the other day. That stuff still burns like heck. Good stuff for sure.

It's pretty much a Navy staple for chapped lips, cold sores, etc. At least it was. It's good stuff. smells a bit, but works.

Got a vial and a small tube laying around somewhere. Hope they don't do away with it.
