What will it fit???

I have a LEER bed cover for my 2001 Sierra ext cab. z71. I have a guy who wants to buy it and put it on his 2014 Sierra with the same options. Has enough changed in the body style that this won't work? He and i both measured and the dimensions of our beds and they are awfully close. What do you guys think?

If the dimensions are the same I don't see why it wouldn't work, the roof may not line out the same with the changing body styles

For the record, the 2001 bed cover fit with a little bit of overlap because of the lip on the back of the 2014. But for the most part...flush.
