    I like this idea. What is the range on the iphone app? Will it work at 20yds? I've been on the fence for this reason.

      I like it as just a secondary angle. I mainly use it on the ground level to film the animals up close if possible.

        Pretty much what I do. Use the phone as a viewfinder and set it up behind where I think the animal will walk out. So the view you have would be shooting towards the camera.

          I just received one for my birthday, and was considering configurations on mounts on the bow versus on the ground... not sure what to do.
