I wore those Academy SPF 30 shirts snorkeling in Jamaica last month and they were awesome. I put some sunscreen on the back of my neck and wore the shirt. Worked well. I've never seen them in camo.

I've never gotten a sunburn or even a tan underneath any kind of shirt. What good does having sunscreen in a fabric do?

Not getting a sunburn or a tan is what good it does . 'Sun screen' isn't just in nasty goo form, lots of the fishing shirts and things have an spf rating as they're thinner and let a lot more light through than a cotton shirt

Tell us where you got them, and how do they compare vs. When you don't wear them!

Game Guard has some very light weight fishing shirts that come in game guard camo. I have a couple short sleeve type but I have seen them in long sleeve also. These are the ones I use for fishing and they are very comfortable in the heat.

LOL I saw this on some national news a couple weeks ago. I was thinking Wow! And the test they did obviously didn't compare their clothes to regular clothes.

All clothes block sunlight. Like someone else said..I've never been sunburnt or even tanned under a regular T-shirt.

When I am not wearing mine I am usually having a lot more fun than when I am wearing them.

I realize the marketing. I just have never found SPF in clothing to be needed for anything other than a marketing gimmick. I have all kinds of shirts, many are very light and thin. I've never gotten a sunburn underneath any kind of clothing ever. I've spent a lot of time in the sun wearing all kinds of different things. All of the shirts I have ever owned have been SPF 1,000,000, but none of them said that on the tag.

Farmer's tan was a thing way before SPF clothing was invented.
