I doubt the "C" has many moose or bear. I mean I know it's a good place and all,but....

What's the budget, how long can you be gone, and what are the potential dates?

my budget would be 10-12k and the dates would be late may-august, and I can be gone up to 4 weeks.

In that range of dates I would consider a nice bear hunt or caribou hunt. You could do a spot and stalk black bear hunt in coastal BC in the early summer. It's a blast and I think a bit cooler that a baited hunt. Lots of options for caribou in that time frame. For true adventure you could head to NWT and hunt mountain caribou. You could also probably do a mountain goat in that time frame and budget. Most people I know hunt moose late in September and even the first part of October. You might could hit some velvet mule deer, whitetails and antelope if you went to Alberta the end of August or first of September.

As above, that is prime time for Africa if that is an option. Its safe and fun and you could both kill 4-5 animals in that price range.

I would do one of the bear/fishing combo hunts in alaska. Those always sounded fun to me.

I book a bunch of my hunts through bowhunting safari consultants. They are good guys and have always found me high quality hunts. They make booking easy. I would consider calling Mark Buehrer and give him the dates and budget and he can tell you lots of options. He has lots of hunts in Alaska and Canada. Now most of what he books is bowhunting and I was assuming that is what you want to do.

Boat based black bear hunt in BC with bolen -lewis. One of my favorite hunts. I actually shot a second wolf with a bow on the same trip but don't have pic with me.

Mountain caribou hunt in NWT with ramhead outfitters. I did as a combo of dall sheep and caribou but I think stand alone caribou would be in the budget. Good fishing as well and you get to ride in helicopters! It's untouched wilderness up there for sure.
