Lots of choices, kuiu, mystery ranch, horn hunter, elberstock, wilderness specialties and so on. It's best if you can try some out to see how they feel. Also depends on what you want to pay. I have a horn hunter and love it due to it having a day pack that connects to it. Lots of pockets and room and it runs about $350.

Id like to try the Kuiu but badlands packs are great if you get the right one for the job. I love the 2200 for anything other than really heavy loads. Any decent external frame will do any of the grunt work. Whatever you get make sure it fits you and you'll like it.

I run the Horn Hunter Full Curl System. I use the frame as a day pack since I can carry everything I need plus start packing out whatever I need to at the kill site versus having to go back to camp for another pack.

Stay away from Badlands 4500.I tore the waist belt in half(only packing 50#),in a brand new pack.It has a lifetime warranty,but they dont have the belt in stock.Ive been waiting for a replacement for.6'wks,was told today that it would be at least another 8.Alot of good a lifetime warranty does!
