Twist on the Parson's deal with the Mavs and Houston.

Chris Bosh is close to signing a deal with Miami.... so the rumors of Houston signing Bosh, then Parsons is out the window.

Now does Houston match Parsons' offer and then they are done with free agency. Or do they let him go to the Mavs and peruse other free agents. Well I guess they have all weekend, to sign more free agents.

I just don't see how the mavs can't land a big name free agent. I don't feel like we are that far off from a championship team. Why not come here and contend now?!? Is it the town, there's worse out there I believe. I just don't know why. I need another championship run in my life

We weren't getting Lebron, and do you really want Carmello?? What other really big guys out there would you want? I wouldn't mind Deng, and I think that is a possibility if we don't get Parsons. Same with Ariza.

I like Parson's, but he isn't worth the money the mavs offered.

I would love Mello, would team well with what we got, pure scorer. For sure knew we weren't getting Lebron, Parsons looks good but I believe Deng or Ariza would fit better. Need a big 3 ball shooter with Calderon gone and I would like a physical guy that will foul, fight and just get nasty out there.

The Rockets are looking like a really legit team with the Bosh signing. I am not sure what to think about the Mavs in free agency this year. It seems a repeat of the past few seasons with not getting any big names. I really hope Parsons turns out to be a great addition. The talking heads in the NBA seem to think he will be good but it's a wait and see kind of thing. I do love that Tyson Chandler is back!

Bosh resigned with Miami, but Houston did sign Ariza... That's a step down from Parsons imo, and trading lin and asik certainly didn't make them better. This was not a good off season for the rockets, at least not so far.

Ooops...sorry. Bosh did stay with Miami and they got Deng too. It's been crazy with all these free agent signings of late. Rockets and Mavs still chasing the Spurs. They seem to not go after big free agents and do just fine.
