I've never stopped eating them. Only time I have ever listened to a recall was the peanut butter one. Because that is ready to eat without cleaning.

When I was a little bitty kid in the Valley I remember my Mother insisting that all vegetables be washed in a mild Clorox solution due to that issue. We Cloroxed all our vegetables in the Far East because of the fertilizer in use. Thanks for the reminder.

I'd be shaking like a junkie in rehab, if I couldn't eat peppers! Glad I have my own garden with jalapenos, serranos, chili pequins, Big Jims, habaneros, tabasco, etc. Tomorrow evening, I am cooking Seafood Gumbo with fresh tomatos, peppers and okra. Yummy!
